Thinking About Joining eXp Realty?

Do It With GGN Behind You

Gladden Global Network is a veteran owned real estate team. We chose to partner with eXp Realty because it gives our agents real ownership and real income growth, and we guide every new agent through the process of joining, step by step.

Why GGN Partners With eXp

Gladden Global Network is independent. We built our own systems, our own training, and our own reputation in the MD, DC, and VA market. When it came time to choose a brokerage platform for our agents to operate under, we chose eXp Realty because its revenue share model, stock ownership program, and cloud based structure matched how we already believe agents should be treated: as partners, not just producers.

Joining eXp through GGN means you get eXp’s platform plus GGN’s training, systems, and support built on top of it.

How to Join eXp Through GGN

A simple, guided path for anyone considering the move.

  1. Learn how eXp’s model works (revenue share, stock awards, no franchise fees) and how it’s different from a traditional brokerage.
  2. Talk to us about your goals and whether GGN is the right fit for your business.
  3. Complete eXp’s agent application and select Jonathan Gladden as your sponsor, so you join under GGN’s team umbrella.
  4. Get onboarded with GGN’s training, systems, and back-end support, including access to the Re List Roadmap and existing new construction relationships.

eXp Realty vs. Other Brokerages

You Won't Know Until You Ask

eXp Realty changed the game for real estate agents with a revenue share model that rewards people for the same work they’re already doing: building relationships and closing deals. A handful of brokerages have tried to copy pieces of it, but none match how eXp pays, how transparent the numbers are, or how far the income can actually grow.

Here’s how eXp stacks up against the brokerages GGN agents are usually coming from.

Brokerage

Starting Split

Cap / Ceiling

Fees

Residual / Revenue Share

eXp Realty

80/20

$16,000/yr, resets on anniversary

~$85/mo cloud fee, no franchise or desk fees

Revenue share up to 7 tiers deep, funded from eXp’s 20% company dollar, plus ICON stock program

Keller Williams

64% agent / 36% market center (often shown as 64/30/6)

Market center cap typically $22,000 to $35,000, varies by office

6% KWRI fee capped at $3,000/yr, desk/tech fees vary by office

Profit share program, paid from office profit, not guaranteed

Real Brokerage

85/15

$12,000/yr cap

No monthly fees

Revenue share modeled on eXp’s but with fewer tiers, limiting downline growth

RE/MAX

Most common is 95/5; alternative plan (RAPP) offers 60/40 to 80/20

No cap on 95/5 plan; RAPP caps at $23,000

Monthly desk fee $500 to $3,000, plus franchise fees per transaction

None

Long & Foster

50/50 to 70/30, graduated by production

Resets each anniversary, no universal cap

Regional/office-based fees

None

Century 21

50/50 to 70/30 typical; higher-split plans up to 90/10 at some offices

Up to 100% after $200,000 GCI on higher-split plans, varies by franchise

Franchise fee typically 6 to 8% of gross commission per transaction

None. Century 21 became part of Compass International Holdings on Jan 9, 2026, though day-to-day agent terms are unchanged as of publication

Exit Realty

70/30 minimum, up to 90/10

Varies by office, some cap around $100,000 GCI

No mandatory monthly fees

Single-level sponsoring bonus: 10% of a recruit’s gross commission up to $10,000/yr, converting to 7% retirement and 5% beneficiary residuals

Keller Williams

Keller Williams pays profit share, meaning whatever’s left after a market center covers its costs. eXp pays revenue share, calculated before those costs come out, so payouts don’t depend on how one local office is performing.

Real Brokerage

Real’s plan is modeled on eXp’s but capped at fewer levels, which limits how far income can grow as an agent’s downline expands, and its $12,000 cap is lower than eXp’s $16,000.

Exit Realty

Exit Realty pays a single-level sponsoring bonus only on an agent’s direct recruits, with nothing beyond that first layer. eXp’s revenue share pays across up to seven levels of an organization.

RE/MAX

RE/MAX’s headline 95/5 split looks strong, but it comes with a monthly desk fee that can run into the thousands depending on the office, and no revenue share behind it.

Long & Foster

Long & Foster runs the traditional regional franchise model common in MD, DC, and VA: strong local reputation, splits tied to production, income that resets each year, no revenue share or equity component.

Century 21

Century 21’s split varies significantly by office, with a 6 to 8% franchise fee on every transaction and no revenue share or equity opportunity built in.
